Oogenesis Poster

Oogenesis, or ovogenesis is the production of an ovum (egg cell) in the female ovary. In females, oogenesis goes on from before birth until menopause. Females are born with primary oocytes which already started meiosis I but complete it only after puberty. The second meiotic division started in ovulated oocyte but is not completed unless fertilisation occurs. These cells are developed inside follicles which themselves undego follicle development accordingly. Scientifically accurate. Great for school science (biology) lab, doctor offices, clinic, hospital,... for educational purposes. Vector file scaleable to any size without losing resolution.
