With all the material in place with which to build the wall, the herbivores hesitated. Once the wall was built they wouldn’t see the carnivores again, and they wouldn’t be able to continue to lord it over them. They couldn’t let their advantage disappear that fast, they wanted to have a lot of fun first. So they set about finding a way to punish the carnivores for the misery they’d caused for millions of years.
