1771, the opening of the Habersham House – later called “The Olde
Pink House” when the soft native brick began to bleed through the plastered walls and
mysteriously changed the color of the Habersham house from white to Jamaican pink.
A National Landmark, Savannah’s stately Georgian Mansion facing Reynolds Square has
an exciting history. Built on land granted by the crown of England, James Habersham Jr. lived
in his mansion from 1771 to 1800. This wealthy planter’s home held many secret meetings
which helped to secure the independence of the 13 colonies from England.

I was a bit disappointed to find that for the price the puzzle was only a small 252 pieces ..... but ....... it is so intricate that if it was bigger I would be frazzled by now
bought as a special Christmas jigsaw for work colleagues to play with in our breaks - it is a great way to get the team to collaborate on something fun, and to start conversations between folk, and a great positive opportunity to provide compliments on the effort put in and progress being made
the puzzle itself is beautifully made - each piece feels lovely (not a cheap cardboard puzzle) and the shapes are all similar but different
Still a work in progress after a week - it's great!!!!
a truly lovely thing ... it will come out each year - both at work and at home. great image, and fantastic finish on the pieces
