Old West Victorian Barber Shop Bath Poster
This is an early tin bathtub located in the back room of a Victorian Barber Shop in the ghost town of Nevada City, Montana. The barber shop was a place in the old west where a man could get a haircut, shave, and bath plus discuss all the events of the era with other men.
A bath was 25 cents in this shop, but rose to 75 cents on Saturday. Towels and soap were free of charge. I suppose they got as much mileage out of bath water as they could in the late 19th century, so an early bath may have been preferred.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
