Old Style Watercolor Christmas Tree in Snow Coffee Mug

A green fir tree in the snow, decorated for Christmas with red ornaments and topped with a star. We see it as it may appear on a snowy day, but not in a living room. Instead, in the old style, this Christmas tree is shown in the snow, against a subdued blue sky while perhaps it is snowing lightly in the evening of a cold December day. What an opportunity to be able to decorate a living tree in your own yard. Here it is seen without the bright lights used today. I painted it in this vintage tradition without the aid of modern digital technology. I hope the trees soft, quiet appearance brings a moment of calm in what can be a very stressful season. The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
