OLD GLOBE SALOON Opened in 1875 on Carson Street by Andrew and Henry Robert, French Canadian brothers. In 1918, Prohibition closed the saloon. In 1951 Bob Golightly, Andrew Robert’s grandson, asked Virgil Bucchianeri Sr. To re-open the Old Globe. IN 1971 the saloon was rebuilt on Curry Street, its current location. Hector Pucchinelli, former Chief Engineer of the Nevada Highway Department, designed the building, replicating the original Carson City saloon. The new building incorporated the old stone ice house that was built in 1890. Virgil Bucchianeri Sr. (1901-1993) was proprietor from 1953 to 1991. Copyright Day Williams 2003. All Rights Reserved.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
