Okavango Delta Nature Photo Prints and Gifts feature a beautiful photograph of a ride in a makoro, a dug out canoe, on the Okavango Delta in Botswana Africa taken by Kurt Keller with a 35 mm camera while on an African safari in Botswana. A pole man stands in the makoro in front propelling it through the shallow waters of the delta by standing in the stern and pushing with a pole.This was taken in 2000, the first year after a 10 year drought. The camp we stayed at had been giving jeep tours the years before at the same place we are now in boats.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
