I took this picture of an Ohia Lehua flower in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii. It was a misty day and all the plants and flowers were covered in tiny water droplets. The Ohia tree is native (endemic) to the Hawaiian Islands. The Lehua flowers are found in red, orange and yellow, but the most common is red. The Ohia Lehua flower is the official flower of the Big Island of Hawaii.
