Like everyone said and the description outlines, this shirt does run small. I ordered a Large for someone who would wear a Small. The front writing ended up a little more muted than I had thought it would, but it works well. It doesn't scream at you. It's kind of subtle but works nicely on the shirt with the black sleeves.
