The Wedgwood October tile features a boy walking on a country path with a pet pig. Birds are pecking at the ground behind them and others fly in the sky above a cosy cottage. This is reproduced from a circa 1885 series of hand-coloured tiles representing the months of the year by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons.
