Nuclear Is Clean Energy Tie

Environmentalists oppose clean energy such as nuclear and hydro electric energy sources. Rather than bolster our energy independence, they would prefer Americans live more poorly by choosing to ration energy, instead. Yet, it is the access to institutions, infrastructure and energy that most efficiently serve to alleviate poverty. The simple fact is that energy policy proposals which impose substantial costs on businesses (such as "cap and trade") curtail competition. Individual consumers will suffer, burdened with a broad array of direct and indirect costs of energy, while businesses will relocate to countries with less st ent taxation.
