This design features a painting by the French Neo-Impressionist artist Maximilien Luce (1858–1941). It shows a view of Notre-Dame de Paris (meaning "Our Lady of Paris"), which is a mediaeval Catholic cathedral on the Île de la Cité in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. The cathedral was consecrated to the Virgin Mary and is considered to be one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture. The Pont Notre-Dame bridge can be seen in front of the cathedral. This painting was original completed by Maximilien Luce in 1900.
