About This Design

"No Surrender!" Scots-Irish American T-shirt

"No Surrender!" Scots-Irish American T-shirt

This t-shirt bears on the front a "clan" crest designed by me of the St. Andrew's Cross and the Red Hand of Ulster with the words "Nemo Me Impune Lacessit" which is latin for the lowland Scots motto of "I will not be attacked with impunity", a synonym of "Don't Tread on Me". The back bears the blood-oath of the Siege of Londonderry and a few words on our distinct ethnic group which made up at least a third of Washington's Army 1775-83, whose principles of rugged individualism and liberty have become American ideals and part of the founding principles of our country.
