No Margin, No Margin Calls Magnet

You may be subject to a margin call if the value of securities in your margin account falls below the required level. When that happens, the broker may demand that you deposit more money or securities to get up to the minimum required for maintenance. Otherwise you may be forced to sell some assets at whatever price is available. A good way to avoid this ugly situation is not to use the brokerage loan called margin and instead use only your own cash to buy stocks or crypto.
