This illustration of a whimsical bear swatting at a swarm of bees in the forest appeared uncredited at the very end of Frederick Schwatka's "Nimrod of the North, or, Hunting and Fishing Adventures in the Arctic Regions," published 1885. The original had "The End" written in the swarm of bees, but it's been modified here so you can add your own text. (The complete original drawing appears on other products in this store with the title "The End Bear.")
