Edmund Dulac was a French illustrator who created art for magazines, books, and stamps. This Father Time illustration is a beautiful rendering of old father time, marking away the years in his study, watching the young. Father Time has a long white beard and glasses. On Father Time's desk sit the elixir of peace, financial extract, and good luck in tiny magical bottles. There's a sands of time with wings, and in back of him on his bookshelf are bottles holding 1903, 1905, and 1905. Father time studies intently a young person in his magical bottle.
