Navajo Falls

Lower Navajo Falls is located in Havasu Canyon on the Havasupai Tribal Lands. The river is laden with minerals which give the water its magical quality. The minerals in the water build up travertine dams creating pools of aquamarine water. A twelve mile hike through beautiful Havasu Canyon leads to this and several other falls. The river eventually ends at the Colorado River and is a popular stopping point for Colorado River rafting expeditions.
