Hispanic tribal Mexican Aztec calendar sundial or sun stone. This sticker design features a colourized version of the famous classic pre-colombian sunstone. The sun stone is perhaps the most famous of all Mexican sculptures. The original monolithic stone was carved by the Mexica people at the close of the Mesoamerican Postclassic Period. Despite the fact that the exact date of the sun stone's construction has never been determined, the identifying glyph of the Aztec king Moctezuma II, at the centre of the disc, indicates that the monument dates to his ruling period from 1502 and 1520.
