Cho-no-ji Crane Tea Towel
【Cho-no-ji-tsuru】A family crest design featuring a crane. Most family crest books, including 'Heian Monkan', refer to it as 'Cho-no-ji Crane', but in 'Kamon no Jiten' by Takazawa et al., it is explained as ' Naga moji-zuru', where the character '長' is used to draw a crane. In 'Nihon no Kamon' edited by Ito Kosaku, the design is slightly different in detail, with the crane's legs drawn realistically, and is considered a character crest.
