N C Wyeth Western Painting “The War Party” Tissue Paper

NC Wyeth , was an American artist known for his realist paintings and illustrations of the old west. During his lifetime, Wyeth became one of America’s greatest illustrators and he created over 3,000 paintings and illustrations. His early trips to the old west inspired images of cowboys and Native Americans that dramatised the frontier. This painting is called “The War Party” and depicts a band of Indian braves on horseback with painted faces and feathered headdresses galloping to war.
