Many years ago, I bought several of the "paint your own tie!" boxed sets at the educational toy store. (I will not get into my lament that educational toy stores failed.) Many of these are about 10 years old, and are showing their age. So, I got out my scanner, and now the ties are re-born on Zazzle! This is one of my painted ties, scanned at a high DPI and then softened (GREYCstoration) to remove the weave. All post work done in GIMP. This version is shifted to be predominantly blue.

I originally ordered 1 tie to test and ensure I liked it with the suits we had ordered! The tie came and it was perfect! We loved it! The colours were bright and the tie was beautifully made. I then ordered the 6 additional ties and the colours are slightly different. The 6 ties were a little less vibrant and the white background was slightly different!

Thanks for delivering this wonderful tie for my best friends 40th 90s theme birthday party. My partner and I are dressing up as Mulder and Scully and the tie is very Mulderish.
