My freshman roommate in college did a lot of humming while we did homework or surfed the internet in our room. One day, we were discussing the idea that music is a language. I made the comment, "Music is definitely a language. You like to think out loud in that language quite a lot." Later, I realised I do it too, and my humming really is almost always in 6/8 time at march tempo. This is for all the musicians and music-lovers who can't seem to keep a song inside their heads!
