The twelve half-notes comprising a scale in music take the place of numbers on this wristwatch design. They are displayed in a very ornate typeface ascending clockwise with the appropriate sharps, on a background that resembles parchment -- a lighter inner circle contained within the slightly darker outer ring. Music staves are faintly discernible. This, or one of the variations (round, or with flats instead of sharps, for example, or a more contemporary look) is the perfect timepiece for a musician.
