Mushin design with original dynamic calligraphy of the Japanese kanji Mushin brushed in gyosho, the semi-cursive style of Japanese calligraphy. On top stands the kanji Mu, meaning not or without, and beneath stands the character Shin meaning, mind, or heart. Mushin, or Wuxin in Chinese, is an important concept in Zen Buddhism and Martial Arts and can be translated as No Mind, or 'Freedom from Thought.
