Mousehole Poster
Mousehole (pronounced Mowzel) is a picturesque fishing village on the south coast of Cornwall between Penzance and Land's End. The village, all but one house which still stands today, was entirely destroyed when it was burnt to the ground during the 1595 raid on Mount's Bay by the Spanish. Today Mousehole retains much of its old world charm and despite the drastic decline in the fishing industry, a few boats still maintain the heritage and tradition of a working fishing port.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
