Mount Ramelau Summit Timor-Leste Postcard

Mount Ramelau, known locally as Tatamailau, is the highest peak in Timor-Leste, standing at an elevation of 2,963 metres. The summit is deeply significant to the Timorese people, serving as a site of pilgrimage and home to a prominent white statue of the Virgin Mary. The climb to the top offers a spiritual and physical journey through rugged terrain and high-altitude vegetation, rewarding hikers with panoramic views that span across the entire island to both the north and south coasts.
