Mount Iliamna Alaska Poster
Mount Iliamna is one of the 51 volcanoes of Alaska, and it's about 130 miles south of Anchorage, Alaska, in the Lake Clark National Park. It's a stratovolcano covered by glaciers and it's over 10,000 feet (3000 m) high! It is part of the Aleutian volcanic range. It last erupted in 1867, with minor eruptions happening later in the 1950s, but it has constantly active fumaroles that eject vapour and sulfurous gases into the air.
This photograph, taken from Cook's Inlet, captures the majesty and power of this most magnificent American natural beauty.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
