Mother Giraffe and Baby Luggage Tag

A mother giraffe lovingly nuzzles her new baby. Realistic artwork created from an original oil painting by wildlife and equine artist Crista S. Forest. In this piece I wanted to use light and shape to form 'hearts' representing a mother's love for her child. The shape of the mother giraffe's arched neck forms one 'heart' and the shape of the lighting on her rump forms a second 'heart' in the image.

I was happy with the acrylic tag but it came with a thin leather strap to attach the tag to luggage (like a cat collar). I replaced the strap with a metal ring off of a key ring as the leather strap would come undone or break easily as luggage is sometimes handled without much care by airlines. Printing is great. Colours and positioning of the design I put on the tag were perfect. Very pleased.
