This design features a painting by the Scottish artist Norah Neilson Grey (1882–1931), who was a member of the Glasgow School of art. It is an abstract portrait of a mother and her child. The two figures are seen in silhouette, painted in various shades of grey, which provides a strong contrast with the bright yellow background behind them. The mother is kissing the cheek of her beloved child. The original art was painted by Norah Neilson Grey in 1920.
