About This Design

Morocco is tradition made modern, proudly cushion

This design captures a contemporary celebration of Moroccan identity: a flat, modern five‑point star abstracted from zellige geometry with deliberate gaps that suggest tile joints and handcrafted rhythm; a clean, display wordmark integrated across the star where each 'o' subtly references camel, old keyhole‑shaped negative space, and palm in simplified form; At the upper part of the star is a map of the Kingdom of Morocco. Together they convey heritage, place, and modern pride in a bold symbol. ❶ Five-point star in this design: A modern five-pointed star emblem drawn from Moroccan zellige tile geometry: it preserves essential zellige shapes and deliberate gaps that recall tile joints and rhythmic patterns, simplifies and arranges those elements within the star’s radial symmetry, and results in a clean, contemporary symbol that combines traditional Moroccan identity with a modern interpretation. ❷ Morocco wordmark: set across the star in a clear display-style type; each letter contains a distinct symbol reflecting Moroccan culture. ❸ First "o" (camel): a camel shape evokes Moroccan desert landscapes and traditional travel, highlighting the country’s desert geography and tourism. ❹ Middle "o" (old keyhole-shaped negative space): a negative-space icon in the form of an antique keyhole, evoking traditional architecture, handcrafted detail, and local authenticity. ❺ Last "o" (palm tree): a palm tree icon evokes oasis scenery in Moroccan desert regions. ❻ At the upper part of the star (map-shaped): a depiction of the Kingdom of Morocco, embodying national unity and geographic identity. ✂︎ “This design is customisable. Loved how this turned out. I used a photo from one of my paintings, gifted it to my daughter, she adored it. Very crisp and clear. Turned out better than I thought it would. Perfect!

Looked as advertised, however disappointed as it arrived utterly soaked in the sealed delivery back, and the stitching at the dipper is damaged.
