Morocco - A Star of Tradition and Today Black Ink Pen

Morocco - A Star of Tradition and Today Black Ink Pen

This design captures various aspects of Moroccan heritage and culture through some distinctive symbols: a flat, five‑point star abstracted from zellige geometry, using simplified shapes and narrow gaps to suggest tile joints and handcrafted rhythm; a clean wordmark spanning the star with each 'o' containing a reduced symbol (camel, tagine, palm); In the upper part of the star is a map of the Kingdom of Morocco. Together they convey heritage, place, and modern pride in a bold symbol. ❶ Five-point star in this design: A modern five‑pointed star emblem derived from Moroccan zellige tile geometry. It preserves essential zellige forms and deliberate gaps that recall tile joints and rhythmic patterns, simplifies and arranges these elements within the star’s radial symmetry, and creates a clean, contemporary symbol that fuses traditional Moroccan identity with a contemporary aesthetic and a modern interpretation of the Kingdom of Morocco. ❷ Morocco wordmark: set across the star in a clear display-style type; each letter contains a distinct symbol reflecting Moroccan culture. ❸ First "o" (camel): a camel shape evokes Moroccan desert landscapes and traditional travel, highlighting the country’s desert geography and tourism. ❹ Middle "o" (tagine-shaped): a tajine icon evoking Moroccan cuisine, hospitality, and traditional slow-cooked dishes; the simplified pottery shape also references the dish's ingredients and culinary craftsmanship. ❺ Last "o" (palm tree): a palm tree icon evokes oasis scenery in Moroccan desert regions. ❻ At the upper part of the star: a map of the Kingdom of Morocco, embodying national unity and geographic identity for the homeland. ✁ “This design is customisable.
