This crescent moon has sprung a leak. Rendered in soft, grainy cream against pure black, it drips slowly from its lower edge — heavy, melting, a little strange. There's something quietly unsettling and quietly beautiful about it, like watching wax pool from a candle or wondering if the night sky is running out.
Textured linework gives this piece a hand-drawn, almost lithograph feel — moody, minimal, and a little surreal. Fits right in alongside the rest of the Mooning series.
