Monster Slayer magnet

Monster Slayer Petroglyph - Blanco, New Mexico This petroglyph is of a male figure dressed for combat, his round body is really a round warriors shield with a bow strapped to his back and wearing a horned head dress while he is standing next to his two gigantic battle spears, this petroglyph is identified as a Monster Slayer. I believe that this petroglyph is a warrior image created to do battle with the monsters that we find in our own heads anger, jealousy, depression, fear and heart ache. Mental anguish has always been a plague to mankind and this icon may have been an ancient attempt to help fight against this type of monsters.
