    "M" Monarch and ""L" Ladybug are from my watercolor series created in honour of the fascinating and crucial insect world. Easily recognisable in nature, the monarch butterfly is famous for seasonal migration. Millions of monarchs migrate from the United States and Canada south to California and Mexico. This particular ladybug is a convergent ladybug. Not only are ladybugs lovely. They also are beneficial insects that devour aphids. A delightful combo to cheer up those moments when you're savouring a hot beverage!
