This mid 19th century Japanese Fine Arts History artwork titled ‘Mino no kuni yōrō no taki’ by Katsushika Hokusai features two pilgrims looking at the Yōrō Falls in Mino Province while other pilgrims rest in a nearby shelter. The Yoro Falls rank among the top 100 waterfalls in Japan and are noteworthy owing to their high-quality water which was utilised for preparing a brand of cider known previously as Yoro Cider, and later as ‘Yoro Sanroku Cider’.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
