To do this, you; -click on the text and drag it off the white rectangle -click on the white rectangle. This is actually just a white shape that is sitting atop the design -this white rectangle should appear highlighted (with outlines). Click on the right 'handle' in the outline and drag it to the right. This makes it wider. -after you make it wider (ie: longer for your name), click off the design. -click in the center of the white rectangle again and drag the whole thing to the center. It will 'snap' to the center and show a faint green vertical center line -click on the text and drag it back over the white rectangle.
