This is the kind of poster that makes new viewers say things like "wow", "cool", and "wheredjagettdat?". I approach a fractal the way a photographer approaches a landscape or a forest. I explore and hunt around for that perfect shot. Something recognisable, special and unique. Being a child of the 60's & 70's, sometimes I grab something that is now considered retro. This design in particular is an example of that. Take a look at all 4 versions in the series. I'm not interested in fractals because they are fractals but because of the beauty I can find in them. I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
