This early 20th century Irish Military History photo features Michael Collins, an Irish revolutionary leader in the Sinn Fein movement, standing outdoors on a dirt path dressed in the uniform of Commander-in-Chief of the Irish National Forces. As a politician, he was a leading figure in the early-20th-century Irish struggle for independence and chaired the Provisional Government of the Irish Free State from January 1922 till his assassination in August 1922.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
