Located on the south coast of Cornwall is the village and working fishing port of Mevagissey. Situated roughly six miles from the town of St.Austell, Mevagissey is a small village at the bottom of a valley which is lined with houses and cottages both old and new. Despite tourism now being the main industry for Mevagissey, the harbor is still home to a thriving fleet of fishing boats and the village itself has remained relatively unspoilt over the years.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
