An old-west Victorian Barber Shop interior left just as it was in 1860's in Nevada City Montana ghost town. A sharp straight razor and hot bath water from the stove was welcomed relief for a man who mined, rode the range, or conducted business in the dusty and sometimes muddy town. The Barber Shop served as a small men's club where sports, business, and events of the era were discussed.
Sometimes the Barber would double as the Dentist or surgeon, if he had confidence in his skills.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
