Melange Paisley in Turquoise and Green Fabric

This original design was inspired by a wide variety of sources, like henna, rangoli, pysanki, aboriginal and primitive art, William Morris, and the French and Scottish paisleys of the 19th century. I did this with pen and ink, and colourized it in the computer ~ and what a fun project! I describe it as "a lush, exuberant, florid display of every colour imaginable." My goal was to exhaust the colour palette ~ and I'm not sure anyone could prove otherwise... This pattern works on all cloth types.

I bought this fabric to make some homewares for a Citroen fanatic. Hit the spot perfectly. Quality base fabric and the car graphics are well done. Great printing, colours as I expected. I did not a border of unprinted fabric around the graphics which didn’t worry me but may affect some. The graphic does not spread from selvedge to selvedge.
