"Meet me at the Park" Postcard

"Meet me at the Park" paints the picture for this scenario: your friend just called and said "Lets have a picnic! I have to tell you about my latest crush, you can't tell anyone. Meet me at the park and I will tell you everything!" So you grab the flowers you just picked this morning and you hop on your bike, snacks in the basket, and start pedaling. Friends since birth you girls have always had a special bond and even something as simple as a picnic is a special event. You're just old enough that mom lets you bike to the park down the street to the nearby park to meet your friend. About the Collection: When I was growing up in a cult I didn't get to make lots of fun summer memories because there was so much work to be done around the house. Family trips were always stressful and difficult for me to enjoy since I was the oldest daughter and had 5 rambunctious siblings. The few memories from summer fun with friends, away from my own family and free of responsibility, are treasured. As an Artist I am blessed with a rich imagination and so I dedicate this collection to my inner child who is now free to live and create her own memories. With this freedom to create I was inspired to make a collection that fulfills my inner child's summer picnic dreams. If you've ever laughed with your friends until your stomach hurt, chased fireflies into the night, or been stung by a bee because you were too preoccupied to notice its presence, this collection will stir up delightful memories for you! If you missed out on fun times and wish you had more time to be a carefree child please join me in reimagining a childhood summer that was filled to the brim with love, laughter, and gallons of lemonade!!! Life doesn't always go the way we hoped and that can bring much heartache and grief. Sometimes the best response to that pain is to love who you had to become to survive and celebrate that strong and brave little child inside you who fought for the chance to be this free. Sometimes when life gives you lemons there's nothing left to do but make “Pink Lemonade!”
