The mediaeval age gave us a great deal of patterns. I started exploring those styles some years ago and looked for examples. Mostly because I wanted patterns which weren't that common. And I wanted something that looked vintage.
A mediaeval pattern design in yellow and black. It consists of yellow lilies in a square tile pattern. This style is from the Romanesque period.

I have cut into 3 foot lengths with swallow tail ends to minimise fraying edges.
