A mediaeval heraldic pattern design. It consists of gold crowns and sunbursts in a chequered tile pattern. This style is from the Romanesque period. The mediaeval age gave us a great deal of patterns. I started exploring those styles some years ago and looked for examples. Mostly because I wanted patterns which weren't that common. And I wanted something that looked vintage.
