mediaeval knights jousting on horses historic art poster

This is one of my favourite paintings, it's titled "The Four Knights of The Forest Festival." I painted it using a photograph that I took when I was at the Forest Festival on Chingford Plains in the UK. The forest festival is held every year and it celebrates everything to do with historic Epping Forest. On two of the years that we attended we were lucky enough to see the re-enactment of a traditional joust between four knights on horseback, each knight is representing his "kingdom." I captured the photograph as the knights were parading around the jousting area and I couldn’t wait to paint it. The Black Knight went on to achieve a glorious victory over the other three knights. I think this original realist mediaeval art picture looks great on this value poster print, I'm sure this historic art image will make an unusual and unique gift for someone special or perhaps you just want to treat yourself to this one of a kind original art print. The poster size doesn't allow for the complete painting but the image still looks impressive as the black knight looks out from the picture at you. The original painting of the four knights on horseback is painted in soft pastels.
