An illustration representing the month of May from the "Tres Riches Heures du Duc de Berry" ("The Very Rich Hours of the Duke of Berry"). The Zodiac signs of Taurus and Gemini are shown at the top. This was a very famous and brilliantly illustrated French Gothic manuscript, and dates to the 15th century. Perfect gift for someone with a birthday in May!

I was a bit disappointed to find that for the price the puzzle was only a small 252 pieces ..... but ....... it is so intricate that if it was bigger I would be frazzled by now
bought as a special Christmas jigsaw for work colleagues to play with in our breaks - it is a great way to get the team to collaborate on something fun, and to start conversations between folk, and a great positive opportunity to provide compliments on the effort put in and progress being made
the puzzle itself is beautifully made - each piece feels lovely (not a cheap cardboard puzzle) and the shapes are all similar but different
Still a work in progress after a week - it's great!!!!
a truly lovely thing ... it will come out each year - both at work and at home. great image, and fantastic finish on the pieces
