Mechanical Angel I - the FIRST in a new series - a Steampunk series - called "Mechanical Angels" (and this one is the first in the series - all will be different but feature simialr clockwork/gothic themes). This first painting - "Mechanical Angel I" features a gorgeous big eyed angel girl - quite doll-like - with wings right out of Da Vinci's notebook, and a plethora of clockwork gears and scientific implements around her. She even has a glowing butterfly in some sort of stasis container. This piece looks even prettier in person - the "glowing" blue-green lights almost do seem to glow amongst the subtle coluration of the mechanics. I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
