The last surviving plantation on James Island, McLeod Plantation was built by William Wallace McLeod in 1856, encompassed 914 acres and ranked first on James Island for cotton production. I was extremely happy to find a tree ornament for my Occupational Therapist daughter. (I bought one a few years ago for my Paramedic son) & prior to seeing this I was trying to work out how I could create something similar for her.
