EXCLUSIVE MATA HARI DESIGN BY VINTAGERIE EPHEMERA!!! Mata Hari was the stage name of Margaretha Geertruida "Grietje" Zelle MacLeod (7 Aug 1876, Leeuwarden – 15 Oct 1917, Vincennes), a Dutch exotic dancer, courtesan, and accused spy who, although possibly innocent, was executed by firing squad in France for espionage for Germany during World War I. Artist and photographer Karin Hildebrand Lau designed this mousepad exclusively for Vintagerie Ephemera using an historic public domain photograph of Mata Hari and blending it with her own photographs of various textures. I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
