Imagine truckload after truckload of mashed potatoes and other substantial foods rolling over the borders of Iraq instead of trucks full of bullets and bombs. If 250,000 Americans carried stuff like mashed potatoes over the border and knocked on doors instead of kicking them down with their boots, would a torturing, murderous dictator and his gunmen survive in power? Probably. Realistically, 250,000 Americans with pies and potatoes and parts for plumbing would have to be trained for anything if they were to volunteer to step over the border of Iraq. But, what if tyrants could lose power because everyone starving under his rule freed themselves from his power because they received delicious desserts and mashed potatoes when they needed them the most?
